Set out below is a sample week charter itinerary from St. Vincent to Grenada. There are literally hundreds of anchorages in the Grenadines so limitless variations on this sample itinerary are possible. It also shows some of the activities that can be arranged. But remember: it is entirely up to you!

Day 1

Fly to Barbados and join a connecting flight to St. Vincent. You will be met at the airport and welcomed aboard Jambalaya with champagne behind Young Island, Dinner on board will be the boat's speciality Jambalaya. Settle down and relax: ready for your cruise!

Day 2

After breakfast we head for the windward coast of St. Vincent which offers some of the most beautiful sites for diving and snorkelling. What about a swim through a bat cave! For the night we anchor in Wallilabou Bay, scene of two of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movies.

We set sail for the yachtmen' favourite island, Bequia. Explore ashore and wander along the quaint waterfront of Port Elizabeth, visit the famous model boat workshop, hire a taxi to visit the Oldhegg Turtle Sanctuary or the Old Fort Plantation House. This is a 'jump-up' opportunity with live bands in various restaurants.

Day 4

After a leisurely breakfast, we set sail for Tobago Cays. This will be the highlight of your trip! Spend the rest of the day swimming with turtles, snorkelling the reef and exploring by dinghy or just stay on board and marvel at the natural beauty of the place. BBQ lobster will be for dinner!

Day 5

Another fine broad reach takes us to Jambalaya's home anchorage and our favourite island, Petit St. Vincent. There is time to wander around this most secluded and private island, swim and snorkel off one of its beaches. After lunch we sail to Clifton Bay in Union Island to clear out of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Enjoy a sundowner on Janti's 'Happy Island' an island made of conch shells.

Day 6

Enjoy a great breakfast and have a leisurely sail to Hillsborough in Carriacou where we 'clear-in' to Grenada. Lunch will be served at Sandy Island, a flawless piece of sand with a reef for delightful snorkelling. We anchor for the night in Tyrrel Bay where Jambalaya was built. Enjoy a stroll and drink ashore in one of the many rum shops.

Day 7

A 6 hour sail to Grenada where we anchor in St. George's. Walk along the Carenage and enjoy the traditional west indian town. From St. George's it is only a 20 minute ride to the airport.

Bon Voyage!
